  • Hello!

    Hello all. My name is Tory. I am new to the board only and have been doing atkins for about 5 days now. I have done it with success before and am doing it again with the full resolve to make it a lifestyle change. I am doing it now for a very important reason. Last September I got a divorce and my whole life changed. I was the stay at home mother of 4 kids married to a guy in the Army. We remain great friends..but the eye opener has been that I am now on my own and have NOTHING to show for the last 10 years (other than the kids) but I mean nothing of my own! No career or personal accomplishments. So this is it. I have set the goal of joining the Alabama army national guard and hopefully making it on to my local Police Department, all by the end of the year! These are two major dreams that I put on the back burner to care for my family. Now its my time, so I joined this board for encouragement and support. I currently weigh 188 and need to get down to about 165...sounds easy but its not. This is the wieght my body loves to sit at! Anyway I am so looking forward to my own journey an getting to know you all along the way. PS thats me on the far left!

            Welcome to ADBB Tory !! What wonderful goals that you have set for yourself. I have no doubt after reading your intro that you will be able to achieve those goals. Visit often, post often, join some challenges, do whatever it takes to help keep yourself on track. Best wishes on your journey.
