    Today is my 4th day on induction. So far I am not having any bad side effects. I am just trying to stay positive about this lifestyle change. I was a whopping 254 pounds on Day 1. I want to get down to at least 185 so I have 69 pounds to go. I will fill you guys in on my journey.

    P.S. I'm still trying to figure out how to put my ticker on correctly.

    Hi Jamacain Girl. I too had trouble getting my ticker. It took me two weeks! I wanted to have one before I started Atkins lol. Been doing Atkins for a week and I am chuffed to say I lost 7 pounds. To think, if I never wasted those two weeks I could be a stone down but oh well. You look to be doing the ticker properly. You just need to change the HTML. When I made up my ticker there was a menu or four boxes bellow where you have to pick the proper HTML (i am just starting out and don't aim to know what i talking about but might be of some help) It took me three goes. Copy the proper HTML and go to your Edit Signature. Let me know if any help. Remember am new too. Good Luck Chick

      P.S I got my ticker from adbb not ticker factory. was easier.

          Eat foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html, eating a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs” (carb minus fiber equal net carbs).

          Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily. If you need anything we’re here to help each other every step of the way! Good luck!

            I was able to get my ticker on correctly. Yay!! Today is my 7th day. Still going strong. I had temptations last night. It was my daughter's birthday and there was pizza and cake but I was able to resist. That is a big accomplishment for me.
