    Re: Let me Introduce myself.....

Hi welcome to the board. My best advice is read, read and read, then read some more. Use the book, use the links here and use the posts here to fully understand what is and isn't allowed on induction. Get through a clean induction and you'll be all set.

This board is full of support and inspirational stories. Stick around and have some fun

          Re: Let me Introduce myself.....

          Hi Connie -

Eat foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html, eating a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs” (carb minus fiber equal net carbs). Keep track of your food totals for the day using a program like www.fitday.com to help you do that.

Plan your meals for a few days so you have everything legal in your home. Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.

Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily. Many people find a journal a great place to get everything out in the open, be accountable to yourself and meeting great people – http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...journal-chats/.

If you need anything we’re here to help each other every step of the way! Good luck!
          Carole
