  • Hello!

    Hi everyone!

    I am 26, from the UK and starting induction today, after spending like a week reading the book and all of this forum to make sure I could do it properly! I am determined to take the advice and do a clean induction.

    I am 5ft 3, and currently weigh 240lbs, and I want to get down to about 140. I am going on holiday in July so it would be good to make a dent in that figure by then.

    Anyway looking forward to it and getting to know you

        Plan your meals for a few days so you have everything legal in your home. Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.

        The 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) is our guideline here on the board. Eat foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html, eating a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs” (carb minus fiber equal net carbs).

        Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily. If you need anything we try to help each other here as much as possible.
