  • Hello

I have returned to the Atkins lifestyle. I was on the program previously with excellent results: 20 pounds in a month and a half. I hit a brick wall, when I returned after a tour of duty. My wife refused to change her's and the children's eating habits and therefore I suffered. I gained all the weight back and then some. Now I am back at it, only this time for good. I have decided to "flip my own switch". I noticed that in someones post there is an ad for Jon Gabriel's diet. It is basically an Atkins regimen altered to fit his pocket book. I say that all you have to do without spending $35 is to decide to make a change and cut out refined carbs and harken back to the days of meat and veggies: the days before refined carbs and processed foods hit the markets. The next step is decide not to let anyone stand in the way of your progress. Sounds like an Amway statement, but it is true in this instance. Only you are accountable for your weight, no one else.

        Welcome!

There are several ads on the board. Most don't show up for supporting members.
