    Hi,

    I am on induction day 6!!! now , and have lost 5 pounds so far, not bad i think?! Got past the worse days (day 3 and 4 cravings and headaches) and am now happy eating what I am allowed and have lots of energy.

    I havn't tried this diet before but after reading some of the hundreds of the threads on here, and reading posts from all the popular members on this site, I had a wealth of knowedge and have been here everyday updating and reminding myself with all the information you guys have provided.

    The diet works, you guys are amazing, this site is amazing, THANK YOU

          Awesome job!!!!! If you can make it past the withdrawals... you got it beat. I adore the foods I can eat on this WOE. I am an ice cream junkie, but even after a while you can have home made ice cream and it kicks $#%!

          Anyway, I just started again and am on Day 3 and I am working through the cravings, etc. now. Glad you made it out the other side and with such great results!

            Congratulations on your success so far....to help keep the excitement of your new way of eating going make sure you plan your meals for a few days so you have everything legal in your home. Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html

            Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily.

            The 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution book is what we follow here, the more you read it the more you'll know and the easier it is to follow the program because you understand what it's all about. If you don't have a copy you can find one fairly inexpensive on the web (check Amazon or Half.com).

            If you need anything we try to help each other here as much as possible.
