Hi, Just here to introduce myself. I'm 33yo and I'm on my third week with Atkins. I started out at 345lbs and I'm down to 328lbs. I'm pretty excited! My first goal is to get under 300lbs. I haven't been under 300 since I was 18. I've been a big guy my whole life and was one to say I carried my weight well so it was ok to be big. I was kidding myself, I really felt like crap. What a difference since starting atkins! I've had so much energy the last three weeks. Can't wait til the day I'm not refered to as Big Guy or Big Man.

It's easier if you plan your meals for a few days so you have everything legal in your home. Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html. I've been doing this over a year and I still find it easier when I know what I'll be eating everyday.
