    Hello my name is Niesha, I have two beautiful kids a son 7, and a daughter who is 6mths. This is my first time trying the Atkins but I’m committed. I have about 60pds to lose to reach my goal weight

        Plan your meals for a few days so you have everything legal in your home. Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.

        The 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) is our guideline here on the board. Eat foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html, eating a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs” (carb minus fiber equal net carbs).

        Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily. If you need anything we try to help each other here as much as possible.
