Hey. My name is Tony, and I just started Induction last Monday, Feb 22nd, 2010. I'm happy to find there's a community for Atkins' adherents - I'm certain success stories and other people going through the same thing will be beneficial to my success, and I'm hoping I can be helpful to others, as well.
I've been fat most of my life, but lost a lot of weight my senior year of high school just by increasing my activity and cutting back my eating a tiny bit. After college and beer and pizza and gaming took their toll, though, I was well on my way to 450, a number which is absolutely ridiculous, and scary no less.
I'm 25 years old, and decided that I had to do something or I was probably going to never change, and so I'm here and I've stuck to induction thus far, and have no plans or cravings to change that. I've started, this week, to re-incorporate exercise and weight lifting into my daily routine, and I'm hoping to get an accurate number on my weight tomorrow at the gym. Anyway, I'm stoked to get started as a member of this community and I guess if you have any questions, ask.
