Hi, I'm new to Atkins. I haven't started yet- just getting myself ready and preparing myself! I am wanting to start a week on Friday. I weigh 12st 7lb and want to reach my goal weight of 10 stone. Anybody similar and want to buddy up??!! I'm really excited about starting Atkins and I'm really hoping that I have enough will power and determination to get through the Induction phase!

Re: Hi! I'm new!!
Welcome!
Plan your meals for a few days so you have everything legal in your home. Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.
. Eat foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html, eating a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs” (carb minus fiber equal net carbs).
Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily. If you need anything we try to help each other here as much as possible.Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily
