Hi. I have done this diet before. Once in about 2005 and I got to goal weight in 3 months. I lost about 20 pounds I believe. Got back up to 160ish and went on again about a year ago. Lost 10 pounds, fell off track and back to regular eating I went.
A month or so ago I was up to 178. That is the highest I have ever weighed, including heavier than I was 9 months pregnant. I am 5'7. So I lost a few pounds before starting this time as I was disgusted with myself. Nothing fits, I felt tired all the time, just didn't feel good about me, at all. Today I have been on induction one week. I started at 174. I have lost 5 pounds. I am no longer tired all the time already! Love it. I have 30 to lose, and to me, that is overwhelming. Any tips would be very much appreciated. I am exercising 2x one hour each week (a class). I have 4 children and it is sometimes hard to get things in order for myself as I have to feed them and my husband too.
I have read so many stories of AMAZING people, I know to some people 30 pounds doesn't seem like a lot but it seems like it will never be attainable and SO far off. I have no patience that is my problem. I have trouble sticking with it, if a stall comes, that is my excuse to tell myself it isn't working anyway so I might as well have a bagel!! Anyone who has overcome the lies we tell ourselves I would love to hear your story!
Good luck to all!!
