Hi everybody!!!
My husband got some news from his doctor 2 weeks ago. He's got some health issues that the doctor thinks can be helped if he loses the weight. So, he prescribed Atkins.
So....here we are. I'm not going to let him do it alone. So we're the healthy eating couple now. We're very serious about this and we've gotten rid of all the food we can't eat in the house.
Starting that night we've eaten the Atkins way. We've gotten the book to read about the diet, and we feel like we're on the right track. We still have some questions though. So, I'm hoping by joining this board we can get some answers from some of you.

IMHO you have found a great group of folks that will come to your aid for all your questions. I do warn people though, when you ask a question, you will get the right/true answer, not necessarily the answer you want 
It's a great Way of Life and fairly easy once you get the hang of it. Good job getting the book... I've now read the book 3 times, cover to cover, and refer to it constantly.
