  • Round 2

Hello everyone. Came here to introduce myself.

Atkins isn't new to me. At the age of 20 I originally dropped from 199lbs down to 152 and I was able to maintain the weight for quite a while. As recently as July of last year I was 156 lbs but for several reasons I stopped paying attention to what I eat and how much of it I'd eat. I'm 27 now I'm on day 10 of induction. On day two of induction I weighed in at 188lbs . I'll weigh myself again on the 15th.

This round has been pretty easy, especially since I don't have a 3 thirstbuster a day habit to break this time. And I know my way around a gym now. I've been doing lots of weights, lots of cardio. It feels good to get into the swing of things again.

Since it's itroductions here's a pic of me before the baloon up. I'm on the right.

I'll probably get around to posting some before and after pics when I hit the 6 or 8 week mark. Wish me luck everyone.

Welcome Fiction! You sound like a quick loser and you have your age and gender working for you. I suggest moving to Ongoing Weight Loss (OWL) right after Induction so you can start adding things back in to teach you how to maintain painlessly forever. If you have never read the 2002 Dr Atkins Diet Revolution, its a good idea since it will help you understand why the OWL process if important and give you the details on how to successfully incorporate other foods into your life.

Good for you for taking these steps so quickly and not letting your weight get way out of hand.

    HW (this time) 248
    GOAL ONE 228
    (take 2)
    GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
    GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
    FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.
