  • New member!

Hello, I am a new member! My name is Stephanie and I have started Atkins Induction this week. My weight loss journey began in March of 2007, when I started following the Carbohydrate Addicts Lifespan Program. I was quite successful on it, losing 121 pounds in about 20 months. I've maintained the majority of that loss, other than a pesky 10 pounds (+/-) since this late fall/winter. I decided to try to jump-start my weight loss once again. I first tried Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet (followed it to a "t"), but actually ended up gaining after the initial two weeks. This prompted me to give Atkins a try, and so far, so good. You know, in all of my years and years of trying diet after diet, Atkins was THE one that I never gave a try! So here I am! I know I am a carbohydrate addict, and I know that I do succeed with controlling my carbohydrates.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your group!

Oh, one quick question, and this may be a "duh" one, but are the One Minute Muffins "allowed" on the Induction phase?

    Thanks again!

Warm welcome to the board and to Atkins! Congrats on your loss and on maintaining that loss.
Those last ten pounds can be really pesky and take patience. Add a little extra exercise to your present level and I'm sure that'll be a big help too.

Look forward to seeing you hit your goal!
