i just started today did everythng right...jumped on the scale before bed and up 2 pounds. before this i only ate fruits veggies..and nuts...breads...and ok some cake, cookies,candies, chips, lol...but i did get the good stuf in first..its daylight saving time and i decided not to let the summer catch me fat...so i presently weight 171.6 and i am 5ft 3 my goal is to be 120...by july...i know i can do it and i am going for it.. so wish me well.

I make that mistake sometimes too.. you think you've had a good day.. and want to weigh.. but even if you had nothing but a gallon of water all day.. that night the scale would show an increase.... because even plain water weighs 7 pounds or more a gallon...
so.. don't weigh at night
2-15-10 194.8 - highest ever!
2-20-10 190.4 - new scale
3-20-10 177.8 - 1 month
5-10-10 169.8 - 25 pounds gone!
