  • My 2nd Day On Induction But I Been On It For 2 Week's But I Slipt, So Im Starting ALL

    Two week's ago I started induction and I did good for the first few day's & I lost weight. Then the sugar cravings came in. So I ate something sweet and drank soda and gained it back. So im starting all over. This time I made homemade whip cream and put it on top of jello. It deff takes my sweet craving away. I have an addiction over sweet's. Any suggestion to sweet's for Induction? I was recomended to Atkins Advantage bar's, Will I loose weight or gain it back? Should I eat this on a daily base?

    Here's the bad news ... you can't go back to "day one" again ... but you can keep moving forward.

    Since you have an addiction to sweets, I would urge you (strongly urge you!) to avoid things like s/f jello and diet soda ... all that's doing is keeping your desire for sweet alive.

    As you know from reading Ch. 11 of DANDR, Induction is about getting rid of your cravings ... so feeding them (which is what you're doing) isn't going to help you accomplish that.

    The bars aren't recommended for Induction.

    My advice would be to get rid of the jello, don't have whipped cream to feed your sweet craving, and don't drink diet soda.

      I second what she said. Keep that sweet craving alive and chances are you won't do well on this plan long term. The cravings will get too bad. Better to suck it up and squash them now. Why let them control your life?

      Also if you read stalled posts you'll see most include the shakes or/and bars and that is what stalled them. Best to leave them alone too and eat real food.
