  • Didn't do this earlier!

I didn't introduce myself when I joined the board, so I thought now was just as good. I am almost done with my induction phase. It has been fairly easy, even though I've been on Spring break. The only thing that I find difficult would be snacks. I've been eating cheese, but don't want to over do it. Any suggestions would be great. I am hoping to lose about 50 pounds. I am very motivated. I am ready to have summer where I'm comfortable in shorts! I know I won't be at my goal weight by then, but at least I will be making progress.

Just restarted induction as well. And I am also wondering about snacks, At the moment and just avoiding it but will have to look around for some ideas. How much have you lost over the induction?

Miller, thanks! Any help is better than none. Congrats on your weight loss.

Liz, overall I've lost about 9 lbs. However, it's taken me awhile to just do that. I have noticed a big difference in my clothes, just not on the scale. I started over doing the induction because I ate the Atkins bars as snacks and I think it threw me off. I was only eating one a day. So I decided to start over. I will be done with induction Sunday, but I think that I will do extended induction. How much have you lost?

Havent weighed myself yet as today is just day 4. Will do it after this weekend maybe.. feel better for sure, little signs like a looser watch! Also fell much much less bloated. Am really craving sweet things still, which i hope will pass by next week. Im British but live in Turkey and luckily we cant get any Atkins snacks here, otherwise i would be tempted too!

Try hard boiled eggs for quick snacks

Eggs are good - make them into devilled eggs if that is better for you.
I often use left over meat for snacks. Or veggies dipped in a dressing.
