  • Hiya Atkins Group!

I will be kind of short in my introduction and may even come and redo it at some point ; right now though I wanted to at least get an 'hola and hello and ciao and all those other 'nice to make your acquantance' greetings in. As for me though, I guess I am going through the Atkins Flu because i feel h.o.r.r.i.b.l.e. I re-introduced the little I had eaten today back to the light of day (teehee) about three times until there is nothing more to bring up, but my body doesn't seem to know that! I feel so ICKY and i am convinced this is WAY worse than the 'real' flu.

... I know, terrible, introduction post!

In any case, I AM glad to be heare amongst you fine folk!

Welcome LilM. Saw you in chats. Have you read the 2002 book? That is what we use here. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Thank you ChinaDoll! I actually broke the diet which I had been on since the 4th of March and had done religiously - kind of sad about that. In any case, at 3a.m. after taking emetrol (sp?) which I couldn't keep down either, I called the hospital and the triage nurse told me to have someone go get me some Gatorade and to sip it slowly - I wound up having about half a cup of Powerade from Mickey D's. Then this morning at work, still feeling pretty sick, I ate the corner off of a croissant and had an entire Cafe Express Chicken Caesar salad. I'm kind of 'down' on myself and at my body for not seeing it 'through', but plan to pick back up tomorrow. Heck, maybe even tonight .

Make it tonight, not tomorrow. I have found the longer you are off, the ahrder it is to get back on. Best if you get right back on at the next meal if you can.

SO true ChinaDoll! Got right back on the wagon and I'm feeling much better. Thank you very much for the concern, pick-me-up and advice!

P.S. Tried to add to your Rep, but not sure if it 'took'?
