  • Hello Everyone!

My name is Andrew and i am one of those people that have battled their whole life with his weight and I have tried a ton of diets from fasting to herbalife that really worked for me or so I thought after losing about 45 pounds I gained twice as much as I had previously had lost. I was abroad for two years living in a Sheraton Hotel and at work sitting in front of the computer all day so between that and my bad eating habits that mostly consisted of Carl’s Jr. 6 dollar burgers (2 each meal) I ended up gaining over 100 pounds when I came back to the US every bodies jaw dropped when they saw me, I knew I was overweight but I never knew how bad I looked until I saw everyone’s reaction as I was only 10 Pounds overweight when I had left to live abroad. It was time for me to do something about it that was permanent I considered different options from Herbalife to gastric bypass but non of the options were what I was looking for until I found Atkins that is a way of life and so far has worked for me as I have been on the induction for the past 3 months and I have lost over 60 pounds without starving myself I still have 50 pounds to go to hit goal.

    Re: Hello Everyone!

That's wonderful Andy, just don't make the mistake of staying on Induction too long. It takes months to add foods back in during Ongoing Weight Loss and learn how your body reacts to them. OWL is where you learn what you need to make your loss permanent all while you continue to lose weight.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

Welcome Andyy - congratulations on losing all that weight. That is wonderful. Remember to take steps to make the changes permanent long before you reach goal. It is worth it.
