Hello everyone thought I would introduce myself. My Name is Michelle, I work as a Phelbotomist. I'm on my feet for 10 -12 hours a day so felt that I really needed to get some weight off. My partner and I started the Atkins diet two weeks ago today and I have lost a total of about 8 pounds give or take what scales I'm using.
We are a bit confused tho about it all still she did the diet years ago and all she ate was meat, cheese and SF Jell-O...lol. I've been reading where you shouldn't eat anything (ex. Atkin bars and shakes) during induction which we had been doing. Is 8 pounds the right amount to lose during induction (she lost about 10 - 12) Should we stay on induction for a couple more weeks not eating the bars and shakes or move on? Just curious thanks and glad to get loads of helpful advice in the future!
