    Day 2!!!

    Hello All!

I am 26 years old and have been over weight most of my life...I am currently 197.5 lbs (as of this morning) and at 5'1 its just not acceptable!!

So I am super excited to get this excess weight off, and reading all these posts showing great results had definetly made me even more excited. Today is my 2nd day of the diet and so far its going really good, havent had any cravings for carbs!!

        Re: Day 2!!!

        Welcome Lindz!!

What helped me when I first started was planning meals for a few days so I had everything legal in my home. Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.

The 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) is our guideline here on the board. Eat foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html, eating a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs” (carb minus fiber equal net carbs).

Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily. If you need anything we try to help each other here as much as possible.
