    Hello to all the wonderful people on here!

    This is my second time doing the Atkins diet. I did it approximately 10 years ago when I was in my twenties and was able to lose over 20 pounds. I was able to keep the weight off for years, but the last couple of years I got really lax with my eating habits and put the weight back on...and then some. I am currently on rung 3 of OWL. I started out at 156 lbs on my first day of induction - the heaviest I've ever been. I am now at 148 pounds.

    I am excited to be back doing Atkins! I wish this board would have been around the first time I did the diet (maybe it was???) It's been a HUGE help this time around.

    The only problem I seem to have is forcing myself to get enough vegetables each day. I truly detest vegetables, and it is very hard for me to eat them every day. How many vegetables should I be consuming at rung 3?

    More than half of your daily carb grams should come from allowed veggies. Which veggies do you like? How do you fix them? Maybe we could find some ways to make them more appetizing for you.
