    hi everyone my names dale and needless to say ive started the atkins diet

    i started when i went on the scales for the first time in ages and it came up with 20st 11 1/2lbs. it may not seem much but i am only 17 so i thought i better sort my life out .

    so im a week in and after weighing myself just im 19st 9 1/4lbs


    my brother who i live with said when i was 15 that i would overtake my age in years by stones in weight . i said he was talking rubbish. well guess not . so my aim is to get back under that figure so basicly under 17 stone and stay there .

    anyway i hope to get to no other people on here trying to achive the same goal as me
    You only crave because you cant have .

    Well seventeen is nice and young. Do some healthy things like moving around, getting plenty of nutrients and water. And check in with your doctor just in case.

      Welcome. This way of eating will work for you but it works best when you read the book and follow it up with exercise too.

        Welcome aboard and congrats!! For your age make sure your doctor she's it's ok for you do. Sometimes they do have to modify it for your age.
