    hi

    im 22....5ft 1...weigh 9 stone/108pound

    my target is 95 pounds

    im actually enjoying the phase 1 now although my first 3 days i felt very sleepy...no concetration...and was cravin everything....however all that has gone an day 11 i have lost 4 pound hope to reach my goal soon and move on to phase 2...3 and 4 and a whole life time of good eating habits

    At 95 lbs, you'd be underweight based on your BMI.

    im actually enjoying the phase 1
    You're already at a healthy weight. There's no reason for you to start Atkins on Induction.

    Besides, the last 5-10 lbs are meant to be lost in Pre-Maintenance.

    I would suggest you read Atkins for Life. There are some tips there for people who start Atkins with no or very little weight lose.

      hi thank you for the reply...

      i have read up well on atkins... however it does mention if you would like to kick start do start from phase one. also unfortunate for me take away the belly im probably only 7 1/2 stone...i put everything on the stomach and phase 1 has really helped with me cut back on the amount of bread and chocalates i was eating....also having a look at my ideal weight on chart it does say between 7 stone 10 pound and 8 stone 10...realistically im above border line.

        Georgiana...hi again, would you still suggest pre maintenance even though i have quiete abit to loose around the belly?

          Good for you to have lost 4 lbs already. I'm 5'2"- an inch taller than you- and in my 20's and most of my 30's I was between 98 and 108 with good muscle definition and a healthy body fat % (18 to 20% mostly). So I think your goal is quite realistic provided your body fat percentage doesn't go too low. Body fat is what tells the tale. BMI and height/weight tables can be deceptive.
