    Hello everyone!
Well I'm new here, and just wanted to say hello. I had a rapid and wild amount of success with Atkins about 11 years ago, and since have tried different approaches.

My ideal weight is 170-180. I have not been under 200 lbs for over 5 years. So I'm here to give atkins another shot. I'm on day 7 of the induction. I've lost 1-2 lbs.

It definitely went much faster last time. 10 years ago!!

    Well cheers everyone.

    Welcome to ADBB!

Since you probably didn't have the 2002 version of the book last time, make sure that's the one you're using this time!

Hi and welcome Ellis -- yep, the older we get the harder and slower our weight loss is...not fair, but that's just the way it is. Good luck to you!

            Re: New to the forum

Thanks for the welcome folks! Hey just to update, I reached 208 by my 14 day mark. I'm coming up on 21 days induction this Tuesday. I've really enjoyed the progress and I'm going to stay with induction for a while. Not sure how long. We'll see how I feel about it once I get under 200.

I haven't added exercise at this point. I will once I start to plateau I suppose.

            See ya.
