    Hello there!

    I'm only 4 days into the induction phase and according to everything I've read am doing it all correctly. I know it's only been 4 days, but I could swear I've already gained weight instead of lost anything. Does that make any sense? I'm counting calories and carbs and I'm right on track - why do I feel so bloated?

    any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm normally not a big dieter, but I've got a part in a play that requires me to be on stage in a bikini so I'm looking for a fast and healthy way to shred a few pounds in a short amount a time. My uncle is a huge Atkins supporter so he told me to give it a try and here I am!

    Atkins isn't a quick fix.

    Of course, you can post what you've been eating and we can take a look.

      Breakfast - 1 scrambled egg sometimes with a small amount of zucchini and always with cilantro. 1 slice of bacon.

      Lunch - salad with lettuce/cabbage mix, about 1/8 cup diced cucumber and 5 cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cup diced roasted chicken salad.

      Snack - jicama strips or string cheese

      Dinner - salmon & broccoli OR roasted chicken & baked cabbage (recipe from online Atkins recipe site)

        What are the net carbs of your items? What are the quantities ... how much "salad with lettuce/cabbage mix"? How much cheese?
