  • Hello all

I was the fat kid who got picked on. At 25 I had my gall bladder out and my doctor told me that it was because I was so fat. For the last 20+ years I have been able to keep my weight down myself. It was work. Last year my daughter got pregnant with my first grandchild. She ate for two and so did I. When I started eating "my way" again, I found the lbs were not moving. My doctor says I am stressed out and stress makes it hard to lose weight. Having the baby in the home is amazing but it does double the workload and the doctor may be right. Since I can't just give in to the weight, I decided to go back to Atkins. I had done it before when I needed to drop weight quickly but I have not had to live the lifestyle. So here I am hoping to get back in control so I can be the gwamma who can run with her grandbaby in the park.

    Re: Hello all

Each time you stray it is harder to get the results when you go back. Here's hoping you adopt this as a long term lifestyle change this time around. Welcome to ADBB

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

        Hi and welcome!

This diet as a lifestyle seems like a great plan for me. I no longer have the stupid sugar and carb cravings that were ruining my life. Good luck to you!
