Hey there,
I'm new to this forum but not entirely new to Atkins.
Short background:
I'm an expat living in Hong Kong since 2006. While I used to work out regularly prior to coming here, I stopped after landing in Hong Kong and have been gaining weight ever since.
I've started Atkins once before in 2007 but stopped it during induction as I absolutely couldn't take any minced meat and eggs any more - was a student back then and western food, what I'd been used to, isn't that cheap either...
Anyway I've recently started going to the gym again and it's just totally awesome to work out again! In order to get rid of the extra pounds and maintain a more health life style again, I'm going to start Atkins tomorrow.
Luckily there's more information available about Atkins-food now, then it was the case in 2007, thus I'm confident to succeed this time.
I'm 6'3 and currently about 216lbs (although I haven't had the chance to use a scale lately). My goal is to getting back to a health 195lbs including more muscles then I have now. Thus I'm thinking of going down to 186lbs and then slowly regaining muscle weight.
Looking forward to having a great time with all of you, low-carbing and supporting each other!
Best wishes from HK,
