Hi all!
I'm Christine, I live in Croatia but I am from Belgium originally.
I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago and that's when I discovered I am diabetic (type 2). I guess I just "waited" for it to happen, somehow?
Anyway - I am very "anti-drugs" and refuse to take anything before I try to get out of the critical state on my own.
So after a bit of research on the net mostly, I ended up going for the Atkins WoL/WoE.
I need to check back with my doctor this week and I'm anxious to see how my sugar levels have dropped! I feel much, much better, not as tired as before, no more headaches almost every afternoon/evening, etc etc etc.
So so far, not "so easy" but doing quite ok!
I also learned a lot on the forum and it has helped me get Induction right (I guess!)
It doesn't show much on the scale but it shows on the hips, lol!
So I'll keep reading to stay on track!
Cheers!
Christine
