    Tired of being overweight

and not doing anything about it. So, I started Atkins on 4/4, yeah that was brave since it was Easter and there was candy and chocolate everywhere. I made it through though. My husband did Atkins last year and managed to lose 55 pounds and keep it off. I am encourage by that success and hope to get myself on the right path.
I've been sluggish, tired and unmotivated for a long time. I've been overweight since after my children were born (9 years ago) and I am an admitted emotional eater. I am on my 4th day of Atkins and I have dropped 4 pounds so far. I look forward to all the advice and great tips I've been reading on this board each day.
