  • Hi guys x

    Hiya peeps x

I've been on the induction phase of atkins since september 2009 and have so far lost over 10 stones. However i've hit a stall at the moment and thought i'd search the internet for some insperation.......and i came across this site, can't believe i've never noticed it before.

Anyway i'm Si, pleased to meet ya x lol x I've got a couple of things i'd like to ask and would be really grateful for replies....here goes x

    1. I've hit a stall but believe i'm still eating right, here's what i eat in a day:

Breakfast- 2 fried eggs (in butter)
Lunch- Tuna mayo salad (lettuce & green peppers)
    Tea- Chicken mayo salad
Snacks- under 4 ounce's of cheese

All advice on way i'm eating appreciated x

    2. I'm joinin a gym at the end of the month and would like to get back into lifting seriously..... however for this you need protein, and the easiest way to get it is via powder, so i'm looking in to useing MAXIMUSCLE PROMAX......

First of all, 10 stone! That's incredible. Congratulations on your amazing progress.

The only thing I see wrong is that it looks like you're not eating enough vegetables. I have to ask, how much in the way of peppers and lettuce and such do you eat?

Another question I'd ask is: How long has this "stall" lasted? If it's just a week or two, it's probably not a big deal, just water retention and the like.

How much do you have to lose still? You might want to consider moving on to OWL Rung 1.

    Best of luck to you.

You really need to move to OWL. You've overstayed your welcome on Induction.

        Welcome to the ADBB, Si!

If you are doing Atkins right, you will probably be getting enough protein for weight lifting from the diet. I don't know what's in the powder you mentioned but I doubt that it will be good for your weight loss. Please be sure to check the ingredients list for sugar and starches. What you quoted is the nutritional info.

I would try lifting weights without the powder just to see how it goes. I hope you find that you don't need it after all.
