    I'm back for more...

    Hello.

I joined this forum back in the end of January, and I did Atkins for about a month, and lost 8 lbs. But I never stayed totally "clean" I guess you could say. I would eat healthy and exercise for a couple of days, and then just let the cravings have me for the next couple. Now I've gained that weight back and I'm totally miserable. It's time for change, and I really hope this board can help me commit myself to it. I need support.

Any tips for me? I'd really like to get to know people on this board, but I'm a little shy...

Welcome. As BeckySue said, the ADBB forum made a big difference in my life too. Just knowing that you can get support 24/7 and that you are not alone in this weight loss journey makes all the difference.

Check out the Q/A forum and look at the success stories of those who are making it happen with Atkins. The Loser's Lounge has lots of stories of people who share how they overcome obstacles and stay with the WOE.

Make sure you read the book, do the program the way it was designed. Take supplements, drink lots of water, exercise and come here for motivation. You'll feel fantastic and will be dropping pounds and inches in no time!

                  Welcome to the board!

First off, don't be shy. I've never found a more accepting and supportive group of people. Most of whom have walked a mile in your shoes.

You'll get all the motivation and encouragement you want. Just ask.

                  Good luck!
