  • Hi from UK newbie

I have just joined the forum 5 mins ago. I started on the Atkins two weeks ago this monday.. All has gone good so far.. Just two small probs. Awful headaches the past two nights... Guess I need to uptake the water.. and I cocked up on a coffee from a cafe with cream.. which I belive had sugar in it as the cream was so sweet. I well and truly hung myself that day.. but, am back on track doing well. I have joined the site to support and hopfully be supported on this trek of losing 4 stone.. Van

Hi Van, welcome to ADBB (from a fellow Brit )

I would agree that you need to make sure you have plenty of water to avoid the headaches.

Shame about the coffee. I never trust cream unless if I can see the packet as a lot of coffee places use cream with sugar added - v.annoying.

Good luck - you will get lots of support here xx

Thanks for replies, I got a new iphone last week and have downloaded gps walker and a Atkins carb counter.. I have also signed myself up for a 10k run. I will have to run/walk due to back operation.. feeling very motivated though.. Where are you based in the UK. I am in Watford van

          Welcome to the board, Van!

The walking and running will certainly help you lose the weight. Good for you for taking it up despite your back problems.

            >>a Atkins carb counter.>>

Which one? The one put out by Atkins.com is awful ... it has products but not much real food!
