Hi All
When I say newbie, that is to say new to this forum, I am not new to dieting and certainly not new to failing! Including a previous attempt at Atkins.
The difference this time is ever increasing numbers, weight, age, aches and pains and the real frightener....blood sugar.
I am now full on type 2 diabetic and together with high blood pressure can see into the future and its not pretty!
Time to take it seriously and time to do something real, so 5 stones or 70lb lighter in 1 year is great, but no weight lost since November '09. I know why, arrogance! It was too easy and I like easy, so here I am, ready to work at the next 5 stone.
