Hi. I've been coming to this board for awhile now so I guess it's time to stop lurking. I started atkins last month and stayed on it for three weeks. I'd lost about eleven pounds and decided that I needed to buy the book. While waiting for the book to arrive in the mail I went off of Atkins and gained about three to four pounds back in one week. I have to say that while off atkins, I only ate carbs just to eat them. I had zero cravings for them and hated how heavy my body felt after eating them.
I still ate them anyways though.
Today is my fifth day of being back on induction since reading the book. This time around, the weight is coming off so much faster than the last time. I haven't weighed myself yet today, but yesterday on day four I had already lost five pounds.
