    hi im 28 y/o.
    mommy of twin boys aged 4.

    i'v done Atkins religiously once ..and i left midway ...( as it sounds tough family pressurized me/ discouraged me..)



    Anyways i hope ..and i plan to be hear for good. the before & after pics of ppl here have got me motivated ,

    1. i have a treadmill at home .

    2. im addicted to carbonated drinks..but left them for good till July.16th ..my birthday .



    3. when i watch tv .. i feel the urge of drinking something .. cold.. is it ok to have lemonade ???

    i know all the rules ...


    All i want is success now.

    Good Luck and I hope you have great success. My birthday is July 16 too! My goal is to lose another 28 to 50 pounds by then. I know it is a big goal and I will be happy if the scale keeps moving down.

            ZZbug, it might be best if you decide you are going to quit sweeteners all together, rather than just "for a time", which can help to keep that longing alive.

              i meant making lemonade from , tap water, sugarfree and lemon .

              iv been drinking cold water...

              is it me..or one feels kind of ""low"" on the first few days of induction .



              thanks everyone for the input..yes il not feed my damn cravings ... they got me fat in the first place

                  As you know, the limit of lemon is 2-3 Tbs.

                  And if you're trying to get over your sweet cravings, adding sugar free sweetener won't help.

                  You can just add the lemon juice to water.
