I've been an admirer of Dr. Atkins since I read his orginal book back in 1975. (I even tried to make the cheesecake and bread. Both bombed, but I learned to think for myself when it comes to food!)
Akins really saved me, when I needed to lose weight in 2003, after many years of anti-depressant usage. I was strict, and well, it all just worked like it was supposed to. (I lost 38 lbs off my 5'2'' frame and got the nerve to start a new life.)
Now, I'm back, post-menopausal (age 54), and taking bio-identical HRT.
I don't have wild expectations this time, but I surley want to get into the normal weight range.
My weights are: 150/148/132: Day 2 of Re-induction. Being good, taking all the supplements, drinking that water, and exercising.
I found this board when I researching Atkins' Basic #3 formula. Glad I did.
Suppose I will join the STAC too.
