  • Hello Everyone!

    To sum things up:
my real name is Lisa, I have been on the Atkins diet for about 3 weeks now and have lost 11 pounds.

I am 19 years old, 249lbs and yeah I have been overweight ever since late middle school- in the end i just kept gaining and gaining but never cared enough to actually try to fix the problem.

I have done atkins before and lost around 30 pounds within maybe 2 months, but then i gained it all back because i got careless (in other words i kept bending the rules and eventually it all feel to pieces when Halloween rolled around and I couldnt resist those damn snickers).

I really really need to lose weight by August because my stepsister is getting married and, well, yeah i just want to look good. It really sucks because I have 4 stepsisters total and they are all naturally skinny (like btwn a size 0-4) and all i can think about is how out of place i will look compared to all of them (me being around a size 20 jeans!).

    So....yup.

oh and someone become my friend on here, im lonley! lol

    Welcome Lisa
Sounds like you have good motivations there. Just do things healthy and move up the OWL ladder so you can get a sustainable programme going

Welcome Lisa. Just keep telling yourself you are worth this and stay focused on the process not the scale. You will do fine!
