    hello guys!
    my name is kareena i recently discovered this bulletin board & im super excited to read other successful atkineer's suggestions & advice on how to better my atkins WOE and weight loss journey!!
    i weigh 57 kilos currently( i only lost 3 kilos on induction!!frustrating!!goal weight 50 kgs!!have a total of 10 kilos/20.2 lbs to lose) but i must admit honestly that i did not give up ketchup(my mother says i came out of her womb with a bottle in my hand!) & had KFC chicken twice cuz i was craving fried chicken so bad!
    at the moment my weight is simply not budging! (been over two weeks!) ive started exercising min 45 mins everyday & i now snack on olives and rye crackers with creme cheese,but im experiencing no weight loss...
    wat am i doing wrong? shud i give up on rye crackers?ketchup?wat wud b a good ketchup susbtitue??
    u all are tremendous encouragement & im delighted to b member of
    plz do find out time to reply,need all the help that i can get!

    Welcome to the board, Kareena!

    You should definitely give up the crackers and ketchup because they have flour and sugar in them. It's best to just give them up and not try to find substitutes for now. I think you will find that food tastes good without being covered in condiments. And you will find that you start losing weight. Now isn't that a good reason to stop using them?

      If you want to do Atkins correctly you should follow the rules. And rye crackers and ketchup are no nos.

      I do think that given that you have relatively little to lose you did very well. You lost almost a third in the first few weeks that is astounding. It is very normal to have a pause after that so hang in there.

      Over here we can buy a ketchup by Heintz made with splenda. I don't know if you can order it or some thing.

        i agree with u blueberrylady, it is surely enough of a reason!! i must stop having ketchup if i want to do this seriously!
        liv thanku so much for ur encouragement! meant a lot! heinz ketchup made with splenda?? seriously?? this is like a dream come true!! i live in dubai & im certain v don't get that here u guys r lucky!! but i'll definitely try to find out if i can order it here or something...
