Hello! My name is Brittany, I'm 21, and I live near Cleveland, Ohio. I'm currently a full time student and I also work at a beauty store called Ulta.
I have struggled with my weight since I was in about 3rd grade and I've never gotten it under control, but it's time to change that! Last summer I did my own version of the low carb diet and dropped 20 lbs in about 2 and a half weeks, but without realizing it was normal.. I quit when I hit a plateau(uneducated much? lol). At my biggest I weighed 280, which is when I became hooked on the video game Dance Dance Revolution(go buy it!), and eventually got down to about 235. I hurt my ankle playing, blah blah blah, more excuses.. stopped losing weight. Well last fall I quit smoking, woohoo!... I also gained 35 lbs.... great, back at 270.
After seeing the premiere of Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, I had a bit of a wake up call. I am 21 years young! I want to get married and have a family and I want to be healthy before I do that! I'm tired of being a statistic and not shopping at the same stores my friends do.. so here I am! I am 2 weeks and 1 day into my induction and so far have lost 15 lbs.. making me 255. I have decided to extend my induction because I was drinking mass amounts of coffee(in place of those cigarettes lol!), and then heard it wasn't a good idea during induction. My goal weight is 150, but I will smile with every pound that I shed!
So excited to meet everyone!
