  • Hey, I'm new!!

    Hi, I'm new here. I suppose my name doesn't matter. But I currently weigh 140 punds. I would like to weigh 120 pounds. I am 5'4". But I always seem to have a problem with sticking to the lowcarb diet. I love fruits and vegetables. And I occasionally crave chocolate. Also, I suffer from symptoms of body dimorphia disorder...
    So when i want to go outside for a jog, which i used to love to do, i feel too embarrassed. Like I don't want people to see me and think "why is that fat chick running around? she's not going to lose weight" and I always just lose hope. So I hope that I will get a lot of support on this website. Thanks

      Welcome - I hope you have read the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution - it's the book we follow here - it's easiest to follow the plan when you have the knowledge to do it correctly.

      You don't have much to loose to you should move to OWL Rung 1 and start adding foods back after your 2 week induction. Drink plenty of pure water (64ounces minimum), take a multivitamin w/o iron and exercise besides eating the foods on the acceptable food list.

      Good luck. Ask questions, start a journal and enjoy following the Atkins plan.
