Hello everybody, I just joined the group today and am on day 2 of the induction phase. I am trying to keep telling my self I can do this and it is going to take time and not to be jumping on the scales everyday. So far it is going ok I think, I am not really a sugar/sweet craver but the opposite, chips crackers etc. I just decided to do this because I am not happy with myself and how I look, nothing fits and my husband has made a couple of comments (which he NEVER ever has up to now). I like this board and think it will be great support.

I totally understand you about looking great and then getting cocky, been there too. I don't want to gain again after this, you are right it is too much work! I am going to be working out more and see if that helps AND I am trying to get my husband to do this with me to make it a little easier!

Re: New here and on day 2 of Induction
Sounds like a great plan...Helpful to have someone you know do it with you...Especially, when its your husband...You will notice you may not loose as much at first when u work out...Thats what I am going through..I have been working out for 2 weeks now on my third and scale has not moved so much maybe 3-4 pds...Good luck!

Do you think you see better results if you don't workout at first? I am having trouble with my right knee but if it helps drop the weight quicker I will stay on top of the motrin for the pain. I thought if I could drop some pounds it might help my knee.

I sure hope so. Awesome job on losing 4lbs already!!!Originally posted by luna nittany View PostWe'll see results! I've lost 4 pounds so far and just started. I'm very excited for this change in my life!
I am going to try to stay off of the scales because I think I am retaining water, I always tend to fluctuate.
