New to Atkins...Day 3 of Induction

    Hi Everyone,

Just started Atkins on Sunday for the first time. My sister is getting married in June and my maid of honor dress won't zip completely (

I bought the dress last March (09) and this April (10) I bet I've gained twenty pounds since then.

I just want a change of life as well. I have terrible eating habits and a sweet tooth. I've tried SlimFast and limiting my calories....but I need a plan that will keep me honest. Whenever I allowed myself to cheat once a week on those plans, it was too easy to stay off track! I have no willpower! So I think Atkins will force me to be honest with what I eat or I won't see the results.

    Here's to a new me!

That happens around day 3. A lot of people experience what's known as the "Atkins flu". It eventually passes. Just make sure to keep eating right and drink plenty of water.

I had a two egg omlette for breakfast, grilled chicken for lunch! Gotta decide on dinner.

Are you eating vegetables? They are required on Atkins.

Yep! Had a salad with fresh veggies for dinner. I prefer eating a salad for dinner rather than lunch! No, I haven't experienced the atkins 'flu'. hopefully i don't either!
