  • Returning to Atkins

God, it's been at least 4-5 years since I've gone on Atkins. I started back in 2004 and reached my goal in 2005. Once I reached my goal (and coincidentally also my freshman year of college) I went off Atkins completely and went back to my old unhealthy ways of eating. Over the course of the past several years I've gained all of my old weight back and more.

Anyways, now that I've graduated from school and my life has settled down I'm looking to get back into a healthy lifestyle.

It's good to see that this forum is still alive and well
    2004 - 205
    2005 - 175
    2010 - 225

    GOAL: 175

    Starting again 4/28/2010

      Re: Returning to Atkins

Hi and welcome back to Atkins --

Congratulations on making the decision to get back on plan! I hope you have the 2002 DANDR (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution) - it's the edition we follow on this site. Exercise, take a no-iron vitamin and drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water. Check Linda's recipe site – wonderful recipes that will keep you from eating the same thing over and over --

Also many people start a journal to keep track of themselves. It’s also a great place to meet new people or find old friends.

If you need anything we’re here to help you!! Good luck.
