    New here and just wanted to introduce myself. I am very impressed by this site and you guys are all inspiring to me (I have been reading the forum and looking at Success stories) I am excited to have joined the Atkins family!

          Welcome -- we follow the Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) on this board and all advise you receive will be according to this edition. It's recommended you read the book so you know how the plan works and how to make it work best for you.

          Plan your meals for a few days so you have everything legal in your home. Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/. Your weight loss may be more or less than others so don't worry about how much someone else lost, follow the plan the way it's written and you'll have the best results for your body.

          Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily – more is better but at least 64 ounces. Take a vitamin w/o iron daily and exercise.
