  • Hit a Bump and Fell Off the Wagon...

I am very frustrated with myself . I know I have to do this WOE to get myself healthy, but I was in such denial I had to change my ways. I have food allergies and haven't been avoiding the foods that make me feel gross.
I have been having a little battle for the few months with myself and going back and forth...eat whatever...Do Atkins...eat whatever...Do Atkins. I am to the point the good food Angel is winning. LOL

I have been on Atkins several times before and I know the more you go on and off Atkins the weight loss can be slower each time you start up again. If I don't dwell on the weight loss maybe slower equation and concentrate on getting healthy...I really do feel, I will be able to stick to it.

I can see the back end of the wagon, I'm walking slowly behind it, soon I will start to run and catch up.

Off to WholeFoods need to get some Grub!

PS: I don't consider myself a failure not continuing on this WOE (and neither should you)...Big AH HA Moment...I consider it a little bump and something I can recover from.

I know how you feel.... I too haven't been completely on track at times... (my main mistake was eating more veggies than I should.. but sometimes.. I just can't stomach meat.. or eggs.. )...

the main thing about this WOE for me is that I'm not hungry... it's not that I lose weight so fast... I can lose weight doing several things.. (or have in the past).. low fat... counting calories.. I've tried it all.....

but with this one... I'm not starving to death all the time.... so that's what keeps me here.....

    take care!

I hope you can jump back on the wagon. It is a pretty good place to be. Not always easy for sure but if we can find a good spot we should be able to achieve our goals

No one should ever consider anyone else a failure - we have all had bumps in the road - if we were all skinny there would be no reason for this forum or any of the other weight loss forums on the internet!

Welcome back -- I'm glad you've found your way back. I've recently returned from a while of being lost in my life also. Once I decided this was what I needed to do and how I enjoy eating it wasn't hard to get back on track and start feeling better!

I can't wait to hear how you are doing in a few day, weeks and months!!
