  • Docedward...back for bacon

Hey all.... i'm back for more eggs and bacon. I started Atkins back in 7/03 and lost about 55 lbs. and gained about 49 back after stopping about a year ago. Now i am on day #3 induction and peein' a storm! I counted no less than 21 times yesterday. Cramps last night...forgot the multivitamin. But...no lie... I started at 369lb less than 72 hours ago and am 355 lb. this am (yes, on a physician scale... in my office). I was really loaded...am still really bloated all over. I put most of the 49lb back on in the past 3 months.

    4/27/05- 369 lb.
    4/29/05- 355.5 lb
Goal...speedo on Clearwater Beach...5/06... ah heck, I should do it now...maybe get a private beach spot that way. :joy

I think you are doing great and to lose that much so quickly is amazing. Just keep up the good work and we will all get to that goal sooner than we think. 14 lbs. in 3 days is great.

I have lost 11 in 12 days, which I guess might be typical, not sure. My biggest problem is etting motivated to exercise. I want to, but just never attempt to....so, we will see what happens.

Good luck with your weight loss journey!

Mannamay...you are soooo right. Exercise is key and I have it in my mind to begin...now it is a matter of getting the flesh to agree. I even bought one of those glyder thingy's that holds 350 lbs.... i just gotta use it... I am beyond the depression and poor fat me mindset about my weight issue... I did that for years and it didnt help... I'm in the "ok, if its gonna happen you gotta do your part and leave the rest to Him"...

      Peace....ed

Welcome to the board! Wow did you shed some water in the first few days. Don't get discouraged if that pace slows a bit. Keep with the program and the weight will come off.

          Good luck!
