  • New to Atkins (and lovin' it)

    :wave

Hi everyone, My name is Steph, I joined up last night. I have been doing Induction for 8 days, weighed myself 2 days ago and had lost 4.5pounds already, and 5cm off my waist!

The 1st day was definitely the hardest, I could barely stay awake!
If anyone knows of any good breakfast ideas that dont contain eggs I'd love to know, I'm geting a bit bored with them.

Also, Im from NZ and alot of the vegies in the book are unheard of to me. Can anyone translate or think of some good substitutes?

I have had a look at some before and after photos and they are so inspirational, thanks to everyone who has posted them. I will definitely be creating a timeline of my own soon.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      Hi Steph!!! :wave

I'm from the land of Oz, just next door to you.

I had heaps of problems with names and conversions initially, but if you go on to www.atkins.com site, and in the top right hand corner, select either "Australia" or "NZ" (if there is one), it will give you a site with info such as your Acceptable Foods list in grams (instead of cups) and info like arugula=rocket etc etc.

Hope that helps and happy low-carbing!

      Cheers.
