    is it wise to start this on Friday the 13th? :joy
    Today is my first day (again) of induction. I have been trying to get past this day for a few days now!
    I am 28, 241.5lbs, newly diagnosed with diabetes, and desperate to get my life back.
    I am married with a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter...I would like to be able to do things with my children. Right now I truly can not. I get winded so easy I can barely play with them anymore.
    I am looking forward to getting to know people here and very happy to have a community of like minded (and bodied) people.

    Congrats on deciding to start atkins and im so glad you found this great board
    come over ot the CC(century club forum) its for those of us that need to lost 100lbs or more and its such a warm and motivating forum.
    yes go ahead and start today, you go on and make your own luck today
    set a few mini goals and before you know it you will be reaching each and everyone until you hit your final goal
    i look forward ot seeing at the CC and seeing you around the forums

        Shay,
        Come to the board often, especially when you are feeling weak. I cant tell you how many times just reading the posts of others that I have made it thru by coming here. Do eat something legal if you feel a urge coming on, drink your water and try to start some new habits. If you have little ones, take them out for a walk, even if its just a short one. Try everything you can, but dont give in to your urges. We are all here to help and have all been right where you are, your not alone!

          Welcome!! This is the best place to be for support and motivation as you become healthy and lose weight. The people here really care about your wieght loss. Everyone will be more than happy to answer your questions and cheer you on.

          Should you start on Friday the 13th? You've heard the expression...there is no time like the present. Start today and make today the first day of your new WOL. You won't be sorry. You can do it and you'll soon have so much energy and feel terrific. Best wishes!! Keep posting and let us know how you are doing.
