        Hi Patricia, :wave

I've got only 20lbs to lose too!!! I guess you'll be going straight into OWL? You look nice in your wedding dress, and seeing you in that photo is very encouraging for me. Gosh, you don't even look like you need to lose 20lb - you look so lovely. Still, I'll probably be told the same thing LOL but I know I would feel better another 20lbs lighter!

        Welcome to ha

        cheers.

                Hi Patricia!!! :wave

I think I'm about 140lbs now (I still haven't gotten my head around conversions without a calculator!). I'm aiming for 120lbs and wasn't sure I should go any lower (haven't been this weight since high school). But as you are the same height, perhaps going lower could be reasonable?

Oh... looking at your photo - you're so lovely! What a great encouragement for me!

                Cheers.

:yes Yep, Apollo's right - do the Induction to kickstart ketosis and then join me for OWL - I'll definitely be here by the time you get here! You do realise we have to go through our rungs fairly quickly because we're supposed to go to Pre-Maint when we're 5-10 pounds near goal? We are so close Patricia!!! :joy

tickletussler you've lost me, I've been only on induction when I was on Atkins 3 years ago so what do you mean we have to go through our rungs fairly quickly before pre-maintenance? urplequ: I'm not feeling very motivated right now, I gotta start on induction again cause I cheated after 1 week and 5 days!!!! I gotta get motivated again! :no

IMHO you do not need to lose any more weight at all so i hope you dont think you NEED to and you are just doing it for yourself, you look great congrats

                              No, no, no!!!

Firstly, if you've cheated ON Induction, you just keep going through Induction as though you havent cheated and you don't restart

If you cheated after 1 wk 5 days, then you only do Induction for a few days to get your body back into ketosis then you move on to either extended induction or OWL (which I was recommended to do)

What I meant about getting through the rungs quickly is: either we stay on one rung and find out CCLL ie increase 5g carbs a week till we stall or put on weight and chances are we'd still be doing this by the time we are 5-10lbs from GW, OR we cycle through the rungs ie try various foods out each week and stay on a certain carb-level... or even alternate with both options but not do them the same time - otherwise we can't tell if we are stalling/gaining because of the carb increase or because of a particular food. (See Jade's post - she asks some fantastic questions for OWL http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...amp;highlight=)

Either way, because both of us don't have that many kgs to play with until we reach GW, so we have to try and find what foods work for us AND our CCLL, which means chances are by the time we get to Pre-maint, we'll still probably be trying to find our CCLL and trying new foods

For motivation? Oh dear... that would be hard coming from me - I think you look so beautiful in your wedding dress! :yes
Your motivation needs to come from you feeling more energetic, your skin may look better, you are losing inches, and get that fiance of yours to give you some compliments!
